As part of our commitment to learning and reflection, Fenomenal Funds partnered with KIT Institute from mid-2023 to early 2025 to co-create and implement a participatory learning process. Together with initiative stakeholders, KIT helped document outcomes and surface insights grounded in the lived experiences of the women’s funds participating in the initiative. This process drew on feminist and participatory methodologies that aligned with the values at the heart of our work.

Reimagining Power to Build Resilience

Reimagining Power to Build Resilience is a report that shares highlights and learnings from the Fenomenal Funds’ model capacity to disrupt the traditional power relationships of philanthropy – particularly focusing on how our 2021-2022 Resilience Grants supported Fenomenal Funds to respond to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in ways that would not have been possible under a different kind of model.
