Ana was Deputy Director of Prospera International Network of Women’s Funds, where she worked to strengthen women’s funds and promote engagement among members of the Network. Previously, Ana was Executive Director of EQUIS Justice for women, a Mexican organization dedicated to promoting access to justice for all women. Originally from former Yugoslavia, Ana has lived and worked in different parts of the world. When she first arrived in Mexico, she worked for the Ford Foundation’s office for Mexico and Central America where she collaborated on different programs, including sexual and reproductive rights, indigenous women and arts, and migration. Ana holds an MA Degree in Political Philosophy from the University of York in the United Kingdom, and a Research Diploma in Open Government and Transparency from the London School of Economics. Ana is very well known in the feminist funding landscape and all speak highly of her skill set, demeanor and passion for women’s empowerment.
Ana lives in Mexico City. She loves good coffee and reading the newspaper and spending time with her family and friends.
