Rose Marandu is the Co-Executive Director of the Women Fund Tanzania Trust (WFT-T) since October 2020, expecting to transition fully to the Executive Director Position by March 2022. Prior to this current position, Rose served as a WFT-T’s Deputy Executive Director responsible for Organizational Resource mobilization and Sustainability programs. Previously, she worked as a Deputy Country Director with a USA based International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO), Heifer International responsible for providing leadership in program design, management and overall operations management.
Rose has also worked as a Program Manager with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) focused on resource mobilization, program design and management of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Gender, Governance and Youth programs. She also worked with the World Bank Institute in Tanzania as the Program Facilitator for learning and development.
Rose has solid experience in Human resource and operations management emanating from her work with Heifer, VSO and a local private sector entity known as Caspian Limited.
She holds a B.A in International Relations from University of Dar Es Salaam, MBA-International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade as well as Diploma in Community Health from Moi University, Kenya.
